8 days is too short for Sapporo, Tokyo and Osaka.
I was able to watch a lot of CMs ( Nino's, my girl single, AU), My girl drama last friday,
New Zero and Shukudai plus Utaban last Tuesday while our Japanese friend translated for us...hehehe!
Arashi hunting is so much fun.

Sapporo is not a very good place for someone like me who comes from a tropical country..lol..super cold! but if it's for Arashi i will go as far as Mars or to Jupiter to see them.
The passage way to the dome is too narrow for the thousands of fans flocking the noah's ark...If i'm not mistaken there are only 2 ways to go in and out of the dome.
even the subway gets too crowded before and after the concert.
It rained on the first day..didn't queue for goods but God heard our prayers...
The sun shone for a while on the 2nd day...and i got my goods really fast

The boys mentioned during the 2nd day MC about a lot of fanboys present.I agree! I even noticed there are more kids and couples . I saw this old couple and the husband knows furi for some songs.lol

Tickets here are cheap (compared to Tokyo and Nagoya) and there were many tickets available online a few weeks before i made a decision. I had no choice but to go because my original plan was Osaka which was impossible at that time.
Surprisingly, eventhough the dome is big..the 1st floor and the second floor are not too high that's why you can see the boys clearly down the arena.
My first day, i had a good seat at the right side of the stage...stands but close enough to see the hanamichi. Jun was always on our side.kyaaaaaa!
Never mind my second day, but I'm thankful at least i was there. (laughs)... in fairness, the seat was ok and we got decent view.

The MCs for both nights were so funny...it was so difficult to react on time, blame it on my super poor nihonggo. But my favorite would be the fanboys shouting they like Arashi. Honestly,I wanted to shout too, ARASHI, MAHAL KITA!
I wonder if they will hear me...
Last year, it was Sho kun...but this time around, that BRAT who kept on promoting Mario,made this gorgeous face during typhoon generation and gave me my fave solo for this tour became my concert ichiban. He was so kakkoii! I hope i get over with him soon because it's seriously yabai if i don't!
The backdrop is so amazing. I think i saw that style in Madonna's Confessions concert tour.
If most of you feel that Everything is a forgettable song then you should see the concert.The video is too beautiful.
For me,Ichioku no hoshi's counterpart this year is Bokuga boku no subete .I love the perf and they danced to it.
Aside from Believe, my fave parts of the show were the medleys
and the part where they were at the hanamichi moving around the arena. It started from A day in our Life, Hadashi and Oh yeah! Super fun!
This concert is super special for me because it's their anniversary tour.
Both nights, they played with my emotions.
The opening gave me goosebumps.
I seriously cried during Ashita no kioku .I lost my super exotic contact lens ( without grade) on my right eye at the height of the concert because of too much tears...I realized that i was wearing only one at the train when i checked myself on the mirror.lol
The video after that just makes me so proud of them ( video of their achievements) and the tears continued...
then,they came out with the raincoat costumes and made me laugh all of a sudden.
and the 5x10 song, i broke down again.
I have seen Arashi in 2 venues last year but their japan shows are the best.
Bigger stage, the video wall, the little fireworks during Believe,fire during Truth, the colorful water fountains during Jun's solo.
The atmosphere is quite different compared to overseas shows.
Again, Arashi took away my heart (and my money)
and it's still left in Japan.
I don't know how to take it back.
It didn't come home with me...
I miss them so much!

1st night
- The staff at the gates gave out newspapers where our boys are on front page..kakkoii!!!
- We were all surprised that there were no moving stage, moving carts, special effects except for the water and the smoke ..very Un-arashi..lol
- they only used the main stage plus the mini stage just infront of the main ...not much fanservice...but we can see how much the boys wanted to get close to the people.
- Jun was really super genki..and lots of rabu too between the members.
- Sho looked tired, he had big eyebags..i hate the video walls...it made Sho chan looked ugly..when he is not!!!! ggrrr!!
- Aiba received the loudest screams...sugoi!
- MC: Ohchan was so cute when he said these english words..."ONE NOODLE PLEASE"
- My friends got me a VIP seat ,It is slightly elavated part at the back just across the main stage... That area is so dull...and most of the people there did not stand up at all....i was just behind the officials in the long table, so during the ist encore, when they were in the hanging platform ( gondola) ,OHCHAN gave me a peace sign.I know it's real and it's not an illusion because there were only 3 of us standing and waving.....i was holding his uchiwa!!! OH LORD!!!! I wanted this to happen since the Tw cons......I would have been luckier if there was a rear stage.
- 2 encores only...i felt that the Shanghai crowd was too boring... .sorry!
- we were kinda disappointed after the con, because it was not what we expected..it was like a regular arashi show/guesting minus the concert factor... we didn't know that officials had sort of restrictions for the concert.
2nd night
- They arrived at the venue at around 4pm..
_-Sho was wearing a cap and his sunglasses,black jacket, he stopped for a while and waved to the fans, Nino had a green swearshirt, Ohno was wearing a black jacket too..Aiba and Jun walked too fast..
- Ohchan and Nino's uchiwas were sold out!!
- before the concert, fans were giving out a piece of paper,with a message written in chinese, english and japanese asking us to sing Happy Birthday to Ohno kun after Beautiful days( 2nd encore)
- Aiba again had more fans , followed by Ohno..and then Nino...
- MC: They were amazed how people know Nihonggo and each members said a bit of chinese words and asked if their chinese was good, they also ate crabs and Ohno pretended to be crab, the members picked their fave parts ,his legs and arms, Sho asked if we saw the flowers sent by the director...
- plus a Kawaii kun monomane of Love so sweet. the crowd also requested for Wish and Jun also did it with him.
- ABC and kissmyft2 sang one song each..
- my seat was at Block 10, 680 only..but it was good enough.
- this time the sound system was good, but Jun's mic was too loud during One Love!
- 4 encores with Fight song!! ( yipee!!)
-The crowd was more genki ......and indeed, 2nd night had more FUN!!!!
- Almost all the seats at Block 13 were empty..it was a lonely sight...just before the show was about to start, the people seated at the top most part of Block 15 were being asked to transfer and fill up the space.
- after the con, a lot of fans waited outside the North hall , many of the fans were at the roof of the hall, some even climbed the trucks where the generators are placed.
I came to Shanghai with so much doubts..
No ticket on the first day, but i was able to get a very good one.
Also fears of fake tickets.
IMO, there were about a hundred scalpers scattered across the stadium wearing black jackets..they looked like goons in action films..and worst, they had all the good seats.
I dont think i'll ever come back and watch in Shanghai for a 3rd AAA...( that i am not sure!haha!!)
the ticketing system was a mess!!
the con goods were more expensive..
the movements of the boys were very much restricted during the cons.
I am not saying i am dissatisfied....
but i saw them outside the venue twice,
saw them perform and gave their best..
so yeah..IT WAS WORTH IT!!
AAA3? I want!! 2009 onegaishimasu!!
